12:04 AM EST We have been alerted to a possible problem with pages loading. We are currently looking into it now.

12:35 AM EST The problem has been cleared and the site is working properly for the last 15 minutes. We are continuing to investigate the root cause of the problems.

12:32pm est: Etsy was just briefly redirected to the site maintenance page for a minute. We are investigating what was the cause and apologize for any problems this may have caused.

Nov 12th Site Issue

12:25pm EST: At this time we are stable. We are still investigating the root cause but are monitoring the situation very closely.

12:07pm EST: We are currently looking into why the site is having issues please bear with us as we are finding and fixing the problem.

Nov 8th Site Slowness

11:55pm EST: We continued to monitor and confirmed that the corrective actions we took have fixed the site slowness. Thank you and sorry for any problems this may have caused.

10:26pm EST: At this time we have found the cause of the slowness. We are continuing to work on the issue behind the scenes but the site performance should be much better at this time.

10:04pm EST: At this time we are checking into some site slowness that our monitoring has alerted us to. We will continue to investigate and are working on correcting the problem.

November 2nd: Site maintenance 2-6 AM EDT

6:00 AM EDT: Our maintenance has been completed successfully.

2:00 AM EDT: We have begun our maintenance.

As announced on the Storque, we are doing our site maintenance Monday morning from 2am-6am EDT (see the clock to convert 2am EDT or 6am EDT to your time zone).

Nov 1st: Site slowness

11:19pm EST: The issue has been corrected and the site slowness issues that occurred from roughly 10:42pm-11:14pm EST have been resolved. We apologize for the problem and are keeping an eye on things.

11:10pm EST: We have discovered the source of the problem (a hung internal DNS server) and are restarting it. The effect of the problem is overall slowness on the site, though the site is available to users.

10:59 pm EST: We have been alerted by our monitoring system of systems issues and we are investigating.

Oct. 26 - Problems loading site

Between 3:55 and 4:10 EST today we experienced an intermittent issue with the site. Some attempts to view pages on Etsy failed, and displayed error messages instead of normal content.

We corrected the problem and the site is operating normally again.

7:39pm EDT : We are aware of blank pages for some of our users, we are isolating the problem and resolving as quickly as possible.

2:59pm EDT: please note at 2:17 we were able to fix the issue and have actively resolved the “uh oh” pages.

2:15pm EDT: Approximately 15 minutes ago we were alerted to some site issues related to people being directed to ‘uh oh’ web pages. We have isolated the cause and are working to fix the problem.
